Master at least 2 functional Areas in the Workday HCM Product suite (HCM Core, Onboarding, Talent Acquisition, Time& Absence, Benefits, Workday Payroll, Mobility and Talent & Performance).
Min 3 -5 years of Workday functional experience and worked on implementation /support projects
Creation and execution of lifecycle test scenarios for all testing cycles in scope
Need to identify test scenarios, creation of test cases, execution, defect logging/ tracking and ensure timely closure of all test phases
Own test quality of all test phases in a Workday Implementation including but not limited to System Integration Test, Production Dress Rehearsal (PDR), Performance test, Payroll Parallel Run etc.
Development and maintenance of procedures for smoke, regressions, system load, data conversion, system integration test, and Production Dress Rehearsal (PDR).
Assist the Integration Consulting team in helping to configure and test integrations between Workday and third-party/custom solutions.
Ensure optimal test coverage and test execution, enabling a smooth and timely transition to production
Create and maintain test traceability ensuring all requirements are tested
Work with downstream/ upstream application owners to ensure integrated tests are executed and completed in time
Collaborate with teams across shores to meet the required outcomes and objectives
Able to develop innovative automated and manual testing approaches to meet deadlines while maintaining quality assurance
Prioritizes system testing requirements and areas for self and users, identifies and eliminates potential testing roadblocks
Work with users to plan Production Dress Rehearsal (PDR) activities ensuring adequate coverage
Manage defect triage meetings and drive defect fix/ retest and closure
Create test progress reports as per the standards
Expertise in any one of Test management tool ( JIRA, HP ALM,…)
