Title:ZOS Mainframe Admin

Location: Clinton, NJ or Alpharetta, GA(100% onsite)

 

  • Expert knowledge and understanding of z/OS, components and subsystems.
  • Strong experience in installing, configuring and maintaining IBM & and non-IBM products.
  • Good knowledge of supporting non-IBM products.
  • Strong experience of SMP/E tool.
  • Working experience on supporting multi-system IBM mainframe Parallel SysPlex environments and GDPS.
  • Working experience with z/OSMF with good knowledge of functions, architecture and facilities.
  • Expert knowledge of PARMLIB configuration, customization of subsystems and configure USS.
  • Hands on experience to configure GRS, SMF, RMF, WLM, System logger, etc.
  • Configure and capture different types of system dumps and diagnostic documentation as and when required
  • Understand and change settings on HMC.
  • Experience using REXX and CLIST languages.
  • Strong documentation and presentation skill.
     

Added Advantage 
 

  • Experience with storage management - DFSMS, RMM,HSM CDS and Catalog
  • Exposure / Experience with Zowe
  • Programming experience
  • Usage of performance reports/metrics to identify improvement opportunities

     

Education from an accredited University or College -

 

  • Degree in Engineering or Computer Science or IT
  • Equivalent education with required experience
