BIOS Validation Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough validation and testing of BIOS firmware to ensure compliance with Client's standards and requirements.
• Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, including test cases and scenarios, for BIOS validation.
• Perform functional, regression, and compatibility testing of BIOS across diverse hardware configurations.
• Identify, analyze, and meticulously report bugs, defects, and inconsistencies in BIOS firmware.
• Collaborate closely with BIOS development teams to troubleshoot issues and drive timely resolutions.
• Maintain detailed documentation of validation activities, test results, and findings.
• Stay abreast of the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices related to BIOS validation.
• Create and maintain automated test scripts using scripting languages like Python or PowerShell.
• Analyze test results, troubleshoot issues, and document findings effectively.
• Collaborate seamlessly with hardware engineers, firmware developers, and other stakeholders to resolve BIOS validation challenges and ensure prompt product releases.
• Keep current with the latest BIOS validation tools and technologies.
• Uphold a strong understanding of industry standards and best practices pertinent to BIOS validation.

Requirements:-

• Bachelor's degree in relevant field or equivalent experience.
• Prior experience in BIOS firmware validation or similar role.
• Proficiency in test plan creation and execution.
• Strong problem-solving and collaboration skills.
• Familiarity with BIOS architecture and testing methodologies
