Expectations And Tasks
Contribute to the development of automated solutions for anomaly detection and incident auto remediation. Performs automation and standardization. Monitor and measure systems for performance, load & capacity planning. Ensure smooth operations and maximize uptime. Participate in incident management and resolution, contribute to incident root cause analysis. Assist Research & Development (R&D) teams in the delivery of production ready services. Collaborates with engineering and product management as well as other service groups. Improves system landscape support in the assigned functional areas of responsibility. Independent assurance of effective system operations along the software lifecycle. Provide knowledge management in the team and between operations and development. Ensure excellent quality and maintain high standards in all processes listed in the relevant process map. Contribute to operations model/operational processes and procedures.
Education And Qualifications/Skills And Competencies
Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or a related field and 5 years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or a related occupation. The company will also accept a Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or a related field and 2 years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation.
Work Experience
Experience must involve 2 years in the following:
Docker;
Kubernetes;
Jenkins;
Ansible;
Python;
BASH;
GIT or Github;
Apache Tomcat; and
MSSQL or MySQL.
Travel: N/A. Telecommuting permitted. Position can be based in any U.S. location.
